Rajendra Kapse
Born in 1964 at Chandrapur, did his BEA in Painting in 1981 from
Sir J.J.School of Art Mumbai. He lives and works in Mumbai. His works deal with
social concerns and stands as a critique to the present chaos around us.
Hailing from a small town in Maharashtra , he traveled to Mumbai to study art
and could easily notice the disparities that separated the two divergent
worlds, which left a deep imprint on his sensitive mind. Almost all his
canvases are marked by pun and punches that juxtapose polarities: the tensions
that have come to the forefront with economic liberalization in the country
