Melain N'zindou
Melain is a young Congolese painter. He paints with natural
pigments, powerful hues. "Africa is needed when I choose my colors." His work
is a tribute to women. He paints their gentleness and dignity. The pregnant
mother carrying the child or nursing is often a subject of his work. Melain
grew up in an artistic environment in Brazzaville, capital of Congo. In 1995,
he fled his country because of civil war. Upon his arrival in Paris, his goal
was to continue his studies. Despite all his efforts and sacrifices, he found
it to be too expensive. He left for the Charente and felt the challenge of
becoming a recognized artist. This is what he is trying to achieve today
through hard work and exhibitions.
