Huub Ragas
The work of Hubb Ragas is an ongoing search for answers to
questions about achieving a better human being from its natural environment.
What do our cities and environment look like? How can one find a balance
between the comforts of life and the natural environment? Like a mantra, it
traces constantly to support the ideal structure, the color scheme for an
idealized perfect world. Hubb Ragas was born in the Netherlands in Eindhoven,
where he spent the first period of his life. In 1987, he moved to Tilburg where
he now lives. From 1986 until 1992 he studied at art school (ABV) in Tilburg.
After graduating, he devoted himself to photography. In 2000, he resumed his
paintbrushes and took up painting only. He has exhibited his works in solo and
group exhibitions of Belgium, Germany and Holland.
