Chantal Roux
The works of Chantal Roux consists of the dreamlike immersion of
movement of people, animals, objects of everyday life, at floating and sharp,
in a strange proximity. There is in her paintings a "fantastic" dimension, and
a just suggested, surreality in close contact with reality. This sentiment
overall, immediate, compassionate, nonanalytical view of people and things of
life translates into her paintings. However, her paintings does not tell, do
not describe, but present a constant mystery. Chantal lives and works in Lyon
and is a Painter, writer and designer. She has exhibited her works in France
and abroad.
