WASIM KAPOOR

Born in 1951. First class diploma in Fine Arts from the Indian College of Art and Draftsmanship, Kolkata, 1971. Wasim Kapoor is an artist, who is able to capture a strange beauty, even in the apparently brutal or sordid. He magnifies a mood or an emotion with marvelously sympathetic close-up views of the spiritual content underlying material reality.
