Isabelle Corcket
Isabelle is a watercolorist and her subjects are cities steeped in
emotion and poetry. Part of being an architect, she observes and
contemplates the beauty sometimes ignored. Her artistic research is
a quest that always leads to the unknown. She creates her works in
watercolor, pen, ink and gouache. She brings transparency and
spontaneity, liveliness and mastery to architecture. It was during her
first vacation in Provence, Isabella discovered the powers of
watercolor. Stunned by the lights and colors of the sunsets, she
wanted to capture her impressions. This technique allowed her to
freeze those fleeting moments. She practiced this technique for
twenty years and started exhibiting ten years ago. She now teaches
her art. This exchange has allowed her to intellectualize her work and
make it evolve.
