Chantal Roux

The works of Chantal Roux consists of the dreamlike immersion of movement of people, animals, objects of everyday life, at floating and sharp, in a strange proximity. There is in her paintings a "fantastic" dimension, and a just suggested, surreality in close contact with reality. This sentiment overall, immediate, compassionate, nonanalytical view of people and things of life translates into her paintings.
